Every story has a science part to it because inside every story there are people involved in the story and people of all kinds are a part of a science that is known to the professional field as psychology. So in other words, when those English stories were presented to certain people who were from America, those English stories were changed by the American people who first heard the English stories.Īll the English folktales and legends are very fascinating and interesting, especially, if we are able to see and recognize what is true behind and inside the story. People who became a part of the American tradition and culture were the ones who changed the English stories which caused them to be folktales and legends. It is very hard to read and understand folktales and legends and that is the reason why most people can only see and recognize the fiction and not what is true behind and inside the story. There had to be something about England that was special if there are folktales and legends that reveal their culture and way of life in the past. Most of those folktales and legends and I would be confident to say all of the folktales and legends we have that are of the English background were designed after the culture of England and how the people were in England during a particular time in history. The English people had done some amazing things that contributed to American civilization and the many folktales and legends we have here in America proves that. In the past and even now, England had some very smart people in their countries history. During this time, America was under British rule, so England was the country that ruled and controlled America. Most of the folktales and legends that were either created here in America or brought here to America are stories that have an English background and the reason why most of our folktales and legends have an English background is because at one time in the past, America and England were connected and because of their connection, both countries were one country. It is the fiction in the story that stops us from seeing what is true about the story. Like I said in a few of my other writings, folktale and legends are stories that have some truth behind them, but what read in the front of them is fiction, so folktales and legends are fictional stories that have a part of them that are the truth.
